To My Valued Friends and Clients,

It has been a few months since our last newsletter. With all the hustle and bustle happening in the shop we had to take a break with the newsletter as time is of the essence on a handful of projects. I am happy to share we are back. As my schedule is extremely busy this time of the year, I'll be asking members of the MIW Team to assist with pieces of the newsletter moving forward.
Today, Jessica, who started a few months back will be sharing her perspective of what is happening on the shop floor. It's nice to see the projects through a fresh lens.
This month's story is about our 4th of July parade entry. The parade float was originally conceived as a graffiti wall and we engaged the Industrial Arts Institute students to construct it. My first thoughts were to have groups of participants, young and old, actively create the finished artwork during the parade. Then on second thought, I thought it might be better to control the situation and have two of the best mural artists in our community create something unique for Onaway. I might be a little bias but I do think it looks fantastic.
One of the highlights for me personally last month was participating in the Onaway 4th of July Parade. It was nice to see so many familiar faces supporting the parade. I did have fun spending my time filling the t-shirt cannon as we rode down main street.
I hope you enjoy the newsletter. Sincerely,
Tom Moran
