INDUSTRIAL PAINTER
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

Read work orders or receive instructions from supervisors or customers to determine work requirements.

Ensure all safety guidelines are being met to assume a safe work environment.

Ensure quality standards and processes are used throughout the facility.

Ability to perform basic mathematical computations. Ability to apply concepts, such as fractions, percentages, volume calculation and proportions to practical situations.

Pay strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast pace environment.

Follow and understand all specification for coatings application from the manufacturer.

Review the paint spec's with the Paint Supervisor to determine proper atmospherics, prior to mixing paint (i.e. check humidity, temp, etc.).

Possess knowledge on surface preparation guide by either the NACE or SSPC standards.

Attendance & Punctuality: Arrives to work at least 15 minutes prior to the start of their scheduled shift. Is punctual when attending meetings when required. Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent.
