CRIB ATTENDANT

GOAL

Acquire basic knowledge of tools and equipment used for both shop and field projects. Utilize the inventory system to maintain a well-equipped and organized tool crib. Efficiently communicate the company's needs to vendors and adequately evaluate them.

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

  1. Audit the company's tools and determine whether or not they are in satisfactory condition and safe to use; Complete the lock-out/tag-out process on any broken tools brought to the crib; Contact the appropriate personnel to repair; send external repairs to a reputable and qualified sources as well as monitor to ensure it is received back in a timely manner.

  2. Responsible for stocking company trucks and job trailers with the required job specific equipment, materials, and tools.

  3. Responsible for ensuring the manufacturing equipment maintenance is completed and documented on a quarterly basis.

  4. Maintain the Wasp inventory system.

  5. Monitor and stock the tools carts to ensure they have the correct quantity of tools as well as the proper tools to complete a specific process (color coded).

  6. Provide price checking on crib consumables.

  7. Fill in as interim for Receiving; Coordinate with purchasing to ensure timeliness and accuracy in deliveries to MIW; File and maintain all documents including packing slips, bill of ladings, and material certifications; Check items into QuickBooks when they arrive.

  8. Take on other tasks as assigned, ensuring the most efficient use of time.

    • Standard working hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. may vary at times in relation to work load.

    • Arrives to work 10-15 minutes prior to the start of scheduled shift.
