Mining Operations Fabrication & Repair

Moran Iron Works, Inc. has decades of experience in fabricating and repairs of all types of mining and quarrying equipment.

We have designed and fabricated haul truck boxes that were in excess of 150 ton capacity, and constructed from all alloy plate. We have also completed boxes from sub-assemblies shipped in from manufactures. Then after welding and painting, we shipped and installed completed components on the haul trucks at the quarry site.

We have great capabilities for these kind of operations when we combine our 40 foot (12.2m) bays, our heavy overhead lifting, our heavy hauling, and High Wire Corridor from our facility to the deep water port.

We have fabricated conveyors, structural steel, transfer towers, buckets, boxes, booms, stackers, special attachments, cat walks, platforms, and items too numerous to mention over many, many years.

All of our employees are MSHA Certified, and are required to complete an extensive training and safety course, each year.
