Project Description: Cyclone Cone sections were fabricated as replacement sections for an existing Cyclone style Seperator. The existing Cyclone Cone sections experienced premature deterioration in areas where fabrication irregularities resulted in uneven interior surfaces, that allowed the abrasive particulates in the airstream to wear completely through the cone wall in areas.

The new Cone sections were fabricated from 1/4" thick Type AR400F materials. After rolling and welding, all interior joints were ground smooth, to eliminate air flow disturbances, and high spots. A matching flange was provided and shipped loose for field welding to the existing Cyclone Housing.
After commencing fabrication on the first cone section, the customer discovered deterioration problems in an additional cone section, so the fabrication of the additional section was fast tracked (5 days) through our system allowing the customer to replace both sections during a scheduled production outage.
All materials were shop painted to customer paint specifications.

Completed cyclone before paint process. Completed Cyclone Cone ready to ship.
