Detroit Edison, 2002
In 2002, Moran Iron Works designed, fabricated, insulated, and shipped nearly 1500
tons of ductwork for Detroit Edison’s S.C.R. (Selective Catalyst Reduction) Unit #4
Project in under 6 months. Moran Iron Works was able to meet Detroit Edison’s
regulatory deadline, and complete the job under budget. We accomplished this goal
by utilizing the experience of our employees, and everything from the design stage
to the shipping process was coordinated to make this project run smoothly and efficiently.
